PoDIUM webinar: The German Living Lab in the PoDIUM Project: Preliminary Results from the Use Case ‘Cooperative Corridor Management in the City of Ulm involving Multi-connectivity”

Continuing our webinar series, we invite you to join us on 3 December for an in-depth exploration of the advancements in the PoDIUM German Living Lab. The session will feature our partner Ulm University and other project experts.

The webinar will delve into the German Living Lab’s work, focusing on the “Cooperative Corridor Management” use case in the city of Ulm. This use case explores how multi-connectivity and advanced data modeling can improve urban traffic management at complex intersections, advancing both traffic efficiency and safety in support of EU targets. The session will cover key aspects, including the deployment of 5G mmWave communication, a multi-connectivity approach for robust data exchange, and the application of a Digital Twin to synchronise real-world and digital models. We’ll also discuss cooperative planning strategies aimed at managing traffic corridors effectively. As testing is still underway, the presentation will feature insights into the system architecture and initial measurements, with KPIs to be addressed in future sessions.

Register now to gain insights into how PoDIUM’s German Living Lab is advancing CCAM.
