PoDIUM highlights its research with three paper presentations at IEEE ITSC 2024

PoDIUM partner Ulm University was proud to showcase its latest research at the 27th IEEE International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC) 2024, held this year in Edmonton, Canada, from 24 to 27 September. This prominent annual event brings together experts to explore new developments in ITS, including a wide range of invited sessions, workshops, tutorials, and paper submissions from leading researchers.

As part of the conference, Ulm University presented a total of five papers, three of which were directly related to PoDIUM. These papers focus on novel methods and approaches for the self-assessment of the digital twin developed as part of the project.

Below are the details of the three papers:

  • “Towards an Advanced Self-Monitoring Tracking Module: Leveraging Statistical Hypothesis Tests and Subjective Logic Reasoning”, authored by Thomas Griebel, Alexander Scheible, Michael Buchholz, and Klaus Dietmayer, and presented by Thomas Griebel.
  • “Self-Monitored Detection Probability Estimation for the Labeled Multi-Bernoulli Filter”, authored by Alexander Scheible, Thomas Griebel, and Michael Buchholz, and presented by Alexander Scheible.
  • “Self-Assessment and Correction of Sensor Synchronization”, authored by Thomas Wodtko, Alexander Scheible, and Michael Buchholz, and presented by Thomas Wodtko.
