PoDIUM was recently showcased at the 2024 IEEE International Conference on Multisensor Fusion and Integration (MFI 2024) by our partner Ulm University. This annual event, held this year from 4 to 6 September in Pilsen, Czechia, focuses on advancements in multisensor fusion technology, covering everything from theoretical breakthroughs to practical applications.
On the first day of the conference, Charlotte Hermann from Ulm University presented a paper entitled “An Efficient Implementation of the Fast Product Multi-Sensor Labeled Multi-Bernoulli Filter” in Session II on Navigation and Tracking. Co-authored by Alexander Scheible, Michael Buchholz, and Klaus Dietmayer, the paper introduces new methods to make multi-object tracking using multiple sensors more efficient. The paper tackles a common issue in tracking multiple objects with multiple sensors, namely matching measurements to tracks, by proposing improvements to an existing filter and testing the approach on simulations.
The full paper will be available soon on our website – stay tuned for more updates!
