On 11 December 2024, Dr. Michael Buchholz (Ulm University) presented PoDIUM’s work at the Workshop on CCAM Trust Assessment for Safety and Security, held in hybrid format at Ulm University and online.
His presentation focused on the use of Subjective Logic to assess trust in security and safety contexts, exploring how trust evaluation methods can be applied across multiple domains.
The workshop, organised by Frank Kargl and Dennis Eisermann (CONNECT & ConnRAD) together with Dr. Michael Buchholz (EVENTS & PoDIUM), brought together experts to discuss open research challenges and the need for integrated trust assessment frameworks.
Discussions highlighted the importance of unified approaches to trustworthiness, ensuring unreliable data is properly handled to avoid safety risks in complex, interconnected CCAM systems.
