July 3

PoDIUM partner LINKS will participate in the “Open Network Intelligence for Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (ONI-CAV) Workshop” on 3 July at the University of Catania, Italy.

The ONI-CAV Workshop, which is supported by PNRR Project RESTART, is a networking and dissemination event for providing an overview on the current state of the art on Connected and Autonomous Vehicles both from an academia and industrial point of view.

Daniele Brevi from LINKS will deliver a speech in Session II: “From Research to the Road: on ADAS and Connected Car”. During this session, he will present LINKS’ activities on Connected, Cooperative, and Automated Mobility (CCAM), with a focus on the critical transition phase from traditional vehicles to Connected and Autonomous Vehicles (CAV). During his speech, Daniele will elaborate on how infrastructure can aid CAVs and manage non-connected actors on the road through the use of sensors. He will also present the PoDIUM project.
