The 2024 IEEE International Workshop on Computer-Aided Modeling and Design of Communication Links and Networks (CAMAD) will be held in Athens, Greece, from 21 to 23 October 2024. This stand-alone event will include Workshops and Special Sessions featuring keynote speeches, panel and demo sessions. It will provide a platform for scientists, engineers, manufacturers, and providers to exchange knowledge and experience.
PoDIUM will participate in Special Session 2 on “PDI (Physical and Digital infrastructure) and communication developments as CCAM (Connected and Cooperative Automated Mobility) enablers” on Monday 21 October from 09:00 to 10:30 in Room 2.
The session will examine the opportunities and challenges linked to interconnecting mobile road users with edge infrastructure, focusing on ultra-reliable and low-latency connectivity and the importance of a tighter integration of the service with the underlying network. It will also provide an overview of the latest developments on distributed and infrastructure-assisted CCAM based on research, market analysis, and ongoing pilots and trials.
