The International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks focuses on the applications of transparent and all-optical technologies in telecommunications, computing and novel applications.

PoDIUM participated with the presentation of the invited paper “Awareness Information Dissemination using Aggregation into Collective Perception Messages for Connected Vehicles”, delivered by Jordi Casademont (i2CAT). The work explores how to efficiently share vehicle awareness data across different communication technologies using a MEC-based architecture. By aggregating multiple messages into Collective Perception Messages (CPMs), the solution reduces network load while keeping information timely and relevant.
