The EUCAD 2025 conference will feature a series of policy-oriented and technical sessions addressing the latest developments in Connected, Cooperative, and Automated Mobility (CCAM). It will also showcase European projects and R&I results that support the market uptake of CCAM solutions. Alongside these sessions, the event will host an exhibition and live demonstrations of ongoing CCAM projects.
PoDIUM will showcase the following demonstrations during the event, focusing on the Use Cases in the German and Italian Living Labs.:
- Multi-connectivity for CCAM data transmission: this demo will show multiple CCAM communication technologies that are used for parallel connecting in an end-to-end manner to enhance reliability through selective redundancy. Specifically, multi-connectivity will be showcased utilising 5G and 60 GHz mmWave ad-hoc communication technologies in conjunction with a software scheduler that controls the application of selective redundancy.
- Italian Living Lab (UC4/5): partial demonstration including trust and integrity: this demo will present the hardware used in the use cases in the Italian Living Lab (Road-side Units, App, traffic light, etc.).This will be accompanied with a promotional video of the use cases, illustrating the functionality and benefits of the Trust Platform Module (TPM) developed as part of the project.
